Milander
Center for Arts & Entertainment is pleased to present a Cuban and Diaspora
art exhibition featuring the work of 18
seasoned and emerging artists that have been influenced by the culture of
modern art in Cuba from past and post 1959.
This
collective of both men and women will deliver a top drawer show unmapping
their deepest desires, obsessions, beauty and unrest that dominated years of
political uncertainty and limited resources; all steeped in remembrance,
melancholy and joy.
The
artists include: Clara Morera, Adriano Nicot, Aimee Perez, Angela Ales, Asun Torras, Aviva Perez, Dania Sierra, Damian Hidalgo Bulte, Flandez, Jorge Santos Marcos, Jose Luis Diaz Montero, Juan Luis Perez, Miguel Rodez, Noel Dobarganes, Pablo Carreno, Raul Proenza, Victor Gomez and TonyRodriguez
Come
and witness this extraordinary collective art exhibition of discovery, loss and
the evolution of the soul of the Cuban artist at the opening reception that
will take place on June 16 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Milander Center for Arts &
Entertainment.
This
exhibit and parking are free and open to the public. The gallery hours
are from 9:30 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday - extended hours to be announced - Frequencies will be open until
August 11, 2017.
