La Mano Hispana 2016 - Milander Center for Arts & Entertainment

The opening reception of Hispanic Heritage for the City of Hialeah better known, as La Mano Hispana 2016, will take place on Friday, September 30th at seven in the evening at the new state of the art Milander Center for Arts & Entertainment.

Our City has been lauded for it's exceptional commitment to the arts thanks to the vision of Mayor Carlos Hernandez and the City Council members. The benefits of their investment to foster the arts in Hialeah have afforded the community a vehicle whereby to freely experience creativity in its most authentic form, personally.

As a result of this decision to inspire and create, local artists have a place to work and an arena to share their excellence publically.

La Mano Hispana is but one of many creative springs of color that have enhanced the canvas of our city to date, but the opening reception and the gallery exhibition that can be visited until November 11th is the gala to which our Spanish roots claim heritage in Hialeah.

Join the crowd at La Mano, tour the gallery, meet the artists and bare witness to Hispanic roots as they take center stage to celebrate perspectives, language and cognitive styles through creation.

This year's Mano features 65 visual fine artists that passionately address and focus on the richness cultivated by Hispanic culture and history; an engaging and powerful collective of  paintings and sculptures which pay tribute to the  authentic nature of our inclusive culture and diversity.

Admission is free and everyone of all ages are invited and encouraged to join this grand opening. Come out and support the arts!

There will be Lite fare and Cocktails.

As for this girl from Hialeah, I am all on board and so is my grandbaby; ready and dressed in support of her provenance!
