Happy Birthday Franz Schubert - A January Soiree 2015

In celebration of Franz Schubert's birthday a small gathering of friends came together for a Schubertian Soiree /Piano at Quatro Manos on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Dr. D Conservatory of Music and paint & piano arts studio.  Dr. D and visiting artist from Washington D.C., Maria Aurora Garcia Sinicropi,  paid homage to the 19th century composer by visiting piano duet fantasies and rondos.

The evening opened with sweet Olivia Pereira, the conservatory's youngest star.

To follow, Christopher Alfonso briskly allowed his hands to travel over the ivories with precision; an accomplished and applied student.

The lights remained dim and the sounds of Shubert permeated the walls and hearts of all present.
